Mothers Day

Spring is here (hooray!) and that means Easter and Mothers day are just around the corner.

Mothering Sunday is April 3rd this year, with Easter Sunday being the 24th April 2011.

Easter Sunday is quite late this year, the date is determined from calculations of a lunar calendar. It is the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after the March equinox. Mothers Day is the fourth Sunday of Lent. This is why they fall on different dates each year.
